Birthday present for ~JadeGirl

In a galaxy far far away, or perhaps closer to home than one might imagine, there is an entity known as Fredric, the Shoelace Monster. Fredric is not a mean monster, per se. He simply likes shoelaces. A lot.

Many scientists have put forth the theory of a planet composed entirely of lost socks. Well, Fredric lives on a planet composed entirely of shoelaces. (Except Fredric. He is not a shoelace, but you know...) He enjoys gnawing on them, tossing them around, and other similar activities.

So, if you see any shoelaces that have been bitten in half, it isn't poor Fido's fault. They simply fell through a hole in the space-time continuum and Fredric took a bite out of them.
